Couples weeks ago Macy’s ended their business relationship with Donald Trump by discontinuing Donald Trump merchandises which included fragrances, menswear and accessories line, over his controversial and disparaging remarks about Mexican immigrant claiming that Mexican are rapist and drug dealers and will build a wall on the Mexican border to prevent them to come in. That remark brought a lot of critics against the billionaire and led to Macy’s decision to drop his merchandises claiming that his statement about Mexican were not true neither accurate because Mexican contribution help our country to become one of the richest and powerful country in the world.
However, since he made it official to run for president, some analysts predicted that not only he was going to be a flop but he was also going to have a big drop on his net worth because of the multiple business deals he had lost along the way, but instead we are seeing the total opposite of that prediction . There is a quote who stated “Men lie, women lie but number don’t lie” and that number is the level of popularity of Donald Trump, it seems like a Trump Phenomenon is taking over America according to a new national Fox News poll, Trump lead the GOP primary voter with 30% , meaning that politically he is doing very well.
Now let imagine that at the end of the elections he end up being elected President of the U.S! will that be the huge business mistake made by Macy’s? by missing the opportunity to be the first and exclusive retailer in the world to carry Donald Trump merchandise? well let wait and see!
Well, how about selling Roger Stone’s book “The Clinton’s War on Women”? It’s a huge hit on Amazon.
On second thought, that may offend Democrats- the truth is something they don’t want to hear.
Is Macy’s making a huge mistake in discontinuing the Trump product line? We shall simply have to wait and see. Are Donald Trump’s allegations accurate that a disproportionate number of illegal aliens coming to the United States from Mexico are rapists and drug dealers? Based upon the demographics of criminal activity and the prevalence of high profile incidents, it would seem so. Certainly the United States is not draining Mexico of their best and brightest.
Will building a wall or other barrier on the Mexican border prevent Mexico’s excess population from coming here. It is a good start and beats sewing fields of landmines or issuing “shoot on sight” orders to the Border Patrol and LEOs. Personally, I see the problem as resulting from a failure on the part of the Mexican government and society, which continually fails to address the fact that their citizens seek to emigrate. Equally culpable are those who enable illegal aliens to acquire employment and housing, from the charitable organizations that shelter and feed them to the employers who conceal and exploit them for profit.
